(*) Tiwanacu is an archeological site located 45 minutes away from La Paz. It is believed it was the center of a culture based on cattle breeding and agriculture and whose main characteristic was a delicate ornamented astronomically oriented architecture of relieves and plains. This culture settled in the Titicaca Lake surroundings. The ruins of Tiwanacu are made up by seven buildings: Kalasasaya semi subterranean Temple, Akapana, Kantatallita, Kerikala Putuni and Puma Punku Pyramids.
