FIRST DAY
SANTA CRUZ – SAN JAVIER – CONCEPCION – SAN IGNACIO

07:00    Departure from Santa Cruz on a very comfortable bus to Cotoca, Las Pailas, Pailon and Los
Troncos. Refreshments in the way
11:00    Arrival in San Javier
Visit San Javier Church – the oldest misión established by the Jesuits in 1691. The tour continues
to Concepcion (approximately 90-minute bus ride) along the road, the visitor will admire granitic
rock formations, palms & islands in the forests.
12:30    Lunch
14:00    Departure to San Ignacio (approximate 4-hour bus ride). Along the way, the visitor will be able to
admire lagoons, swamps and forests full of different wild species. Refreshments in the way.
18:00    Arrival in San Ignacio and hotel registration.
21:00    Dinner

SECOND DAY
SAN IGNACIO – SAN MIGUEL – SAN RAFAEL – SANTA ANA – SAN IGNACIO – CONCEPCION   

07:00    Breakfast
07:30    Visit the most isolated towns of the mission where all traditions remain unchanged.
            Visit San Miguel and San Rafael churches where all the ornamentation and precious carvings
            are delicately conserved.
            Visit Santa Ana church – the smallest and the best conserved one. Refreshments in the way
12:00    Return and lunch
16:00    Return to Concepcion. In the way, the visitor can admire different kinds of herons and other
species of birds.
20:00    Arrival in Concepcion
20:30    Dinner

THIRD DAY
CONCEPCION -  SAN JAVIER – SANTA CRUZ

08:30    Breakfast
09:00    Visit Concepcion church – a true jewel of the 18th century and the craftsmen shops where the
Chiquitanos carve pieces for the different missions.
11:00    Return to San Javier and lunch
15:00    Return to Santa Cruz, refreshments in the way
19:00    Arrival in Santa Cruz
