06:00 Departure: Santa Cruz-Buena Vista. The road goes across Warnes, Montero and Portachuelo towns. Once in Buena Vista the visitors will ride 4 x 4 trucks in direction to Matacarú Tent Capm (MTC) where upon arrival they will be served a welcome cocktail and orientation briefing. Visit the strangler Bibosi or “Ecologic Eiffel Tower” a one-in-a-kind natural splendorous wonder.
Free time: for visitors to enjoy the fresh and crystal clear waters at MTC. Lunch.
Guided stroll through “Las Pozas” path along primary and secondary woods of Amboró Nat´l Park. The visitors will enjoy the diverse and plenty vegetation of the Amazon rainy forest and will be as well able to enjoy the enigmatic sounds of birds and insects that combine in a natural symphony. Visitors will also be able to visit a dinosaur fossil and majestic water falls and pools at the Quebrada Verde where they could dive and enjoy its crystal clear waters. Return to MTC to have a cup of coffee with fresh baked typical “horneaos” pastry. Return to Amboro EcoResort, and later return to Santa Cruz.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE WITH: Fresh cotton clothing, preferably in green or beige; a waterproof poncho or sweater; bathing suit; natural extract insect repellent; Natural extract sun block; used and comfi pair of shoes; flashlight; photo or video camera and plenty of film; binoculars; allergy medicine if you are allergic; and positive willingness.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE WITH: Portable music equipment, it is a lot better to enjoy the natural sounds; Contaminant substances – litter is not appreciated; perfumes that might attract bees and hornets; any kind of drugs, food or beverages; any kind of weapon – they are not allowed in the park.
