Day 1:
Air transportation La Paz – Rurrenabaque – La Paz
Transportation Rurrenabaque airport – town of Rurrenabaque
Overnight hotel accommodation at visitor´s expense
Day 2:
09:00 3 hour-Jeep 4x4 transportation Rurrenabaque – Caracoles lodge (located in the Yacuma River Minicipal Reserve)
Lunch and hammock rest
In the afternoon, boat ride to observe different kind of species. During the dry season, we guarantee the visitor will have the opportunity to see caimans, anacondas, turtles, capybaras, pink dolphins, different kind of monkeys and numerous birds. During the rainy season, caimans and anacondas are more difficult to spot.
Return to lodge, diner and overnight sleep
Day 3:
Breakfast
Three to four-hour stroll along the Pampas looking for anacondas and alligators. Return to lodge, lunch and rest. In the afternoon, boat ride along the Yacuma River fishing for piranhas and swimming along pink dolphins. After dinner, stroll to see alligators´ eyes at night and other night species
Overnight sleep
Day 4:
Breakfast
Boat ride along the Yacuma River to see yellow monkeys
After lunch stroll to the savanna to see birds and monkeys or if the visitor wants to, fishing in Yacuma River for blancillos, bentones or piranhas.
Return to lodge, dinner and overnight sleep
Day 5:
After breakfast, typical horseback riding along the Pampas. Along the ride, the visitor will be able to see different species of monkeys and birds
After lunch, jeep ride back to Rurrenabaque (arrival at around 17:00)
